Welcome to Atelier Jewellers!
However you want to pronounce it, Atelier Jewellers is the Isle of Wight’s best independently owned jewellery shop. It is run by two highly acclaimed jewellers, Harriet Mason and Christina Suen, who not only run the shop, but both make their own jewellery on the premises.
Harriet and Christina first met at the London Metropolitan University in 2003 whilst studying jewellery. They remained friends throughout the 4 years at college and often joked about having a shop one day.
Once graduated Christina headed to Chichester to join a team of jewellers and gain commercial experience, while Harriet headed back home to the Isle of Wight to set up in her parent’s garage and continued honing her skills by entering a part time apprenticeship with a jewellers in Shanklin.
After a couple of years Christina decided it was time to go it alone and set up herself, and after a few glasses of wine they decided the best way forward was to open a shop! And here they are….
