This commission was a joy to do; the original engagement ring was an 18ct ring with a single large central diamond in a claw setting. The customer wanted it altered and sent it off to a place in Bournemouth to have it re-done. The finished result was Smokey quartz in a gold setting with cubic zircons set either side, the original diamond was re-set into a silver stack style ring! The customer was so upset she was unable to wear either of them.

 At the first consultation we went through the different types of settings that were possible Emma chose the style that she was looking for & that we agreed suited the band. Once the setting was ready we had a second consultation to make sure it was exactly what Emma wanted.

I removed the smokey quartz and gold setting, cutting out a section so the new setting fitted tightly. I removed both cubic zircons from the band and using white gold tube re-built the area each side and re-set with 2 diamonds. I removed the Original large diamond from the silver stack ring & set the diamond back into the new white gold setting.
