…Tactile and enticing!

In the summer of 2005, Rachel Dorris set up on her own, designing and hand crafting contemporary silver jewellery.
Rachel Dorris’ main body of work is her Vessel jewellery collection. Vessel incorporates characteristic silver hollow forms. Tactile and enticing, these forms are placed sensitively on the wearer to elegant effect. Altering the size and shape of the forms, Rachel can conjure many natural objects such as leaves on twigs, shells, flowers, and enticing rock-crystal geodes.
In her latest collection, entitled Tulip, Rachel has used two hollow silver vessels intertwined to represent the pleasing shape of a tulip flower.
